Questions about official Aransas County court dockets and case records should go to the clerk that holds the file. The District Clerk keeps district felony, civil, and family matters. The County Clerk serves the County Court at Law and holds county misdemeanor, limited civil and family, probate, guardianship, juvenile, and mental-health records. Municipal and justice courts retain their own cases. The routing below identifies the proper public office; Aransas County Court Docket itself is a private reference resource.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Aransas County Court Docket is privately run. We cannot retrieve a docket, issue a certified copy, change or reset a hearing, remove or seal a case, or provide legal advice. Contact the clerk or court responsible for the original record.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Aransas County does not have one clerk for every court. Route each request by the court named on the case, citation, or notice:

  • District felony, civil, or family docket: use the case lookup routes, then request the official docket or document from the District Clerk
  • County misdemeanor, probate, guardianship, juvenile, mental-health, or County Court at Law file: contact the County Clerk, subject to confidentiality limits
  • Court date or setting: check court dates, then confirm district settings with the assigned court administrator or County Court at Law settings through that court
  • Certified copy: order it from the clerk holding the original case; portal images and private search results are not certified records
  • Municipal or justice-court case: contact the named city court, Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, or Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 rather than a county clerk

District Clerk Zach Westlake: 308 N Live Oak St, Rockport, TX 78382-2745; 361-790-0128; fax 361-790-5211. The official office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is the Aransas County records counter for district felony, district civil, and district family cases.

County Clerk Misty R. F. Kimbrough: 308 N Live Oak St, Rockport, TX 78382-2745; 361-790-0122; fax 361-790-0119. The official page lists hours from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The County Clerk is clerk for the County Court at Law. For that court’s settings, the listed line is 361-790-0138.

Both offices are in the replacement courthouse in Rockport, but they keep different records. Confirm the office, room, mailing method, copy fee, and current hours before visiting or sending a request. Older county forms may still show former Highway 35 or East Laurel locations. A district court administrator can address settings and procedure, but the Aransas County District Clerk remains the local records custodian.
